I have had no problems with any of them. I did have to modify the bar to fit my particular bicycle, but that was not a problem. I use an adjustable automobile hose clamp(s) which I can easily remove with a screwdriver. There is a slight learning curve with the dog. The two males wanted to pull me along, while the female was content to run along the side. Like any other dog, once you teach them what you want, there is no problem. One caution note for the rider--don't use on wet surfaces. Bike leash is very sturdy and easy to use. Great for covering more ground quickly - if unable to take a walk with your dog. Also helpful in establishing the bike rider as a pack leader. I used it with my older dog with no problems. I put a younger dog on it. We live in the country and he pulled me down the road about 20 mph. We stopped because a car was comming up behind us. After the car passed we I was walking the bike into a turn. The dog got anxious and was jerking as I was turning. He pulled the pyramid out of the bike. He stopped when I called him so no harm there. They pyramid was not harmed. My bike got bent up real bad where the pyramid fit and the gear guide. It was a 10 speed. I through the bike away. It would have cost more to fix than replace. 2 of 2 found this review helpful: You can create the same exercise experience with a waist leash, 2008-05-24 If you have trained your dog with commands, all you need is a six-foot lead (this a normal length training leash) that clips around your waist (often called a "Hands Free" or "Runner's Leash") to give your dog a great run. I am a huge believer in ample exercise for dogs. We live in a condo and exercise makes all the difference in obedience, health and boredom level for our 40 lb. dog. My two dogs love it - although one of them took four trips before he began to enjoy it. It is next to impossible for the dog to cause me to lose my balance. The product was shipped quickly. It did not have any instructions, but you would have to be brain dead to not understand how it attaches. If that is the case - you shouldn't be using it anyway.
